Travel Information

We recommend that delegates travelling from overseas if possible aim to arrive at London Heathrow airport.  Gatwick, Stansted, Luton and City although called London airports are, in fact, considerable distances from Windsor.

Train Station

Egham (EGH) station is just 3 miles from the hotel, with connections to London Waterloo and Reading. Windsor & Eton Riverside (WNR) station and Windsor & Eton Central (WNC) station are also nearby.

De Vere Beaumont Estate is easily accessible from the M3, M4, and M25. Use the following navigation coordinates (51.449394, -0.575441) and postcode (SL4 2JJ) to find the hotel. Parking is free for all guests.

The nearest airport is Heathrow Airport, which is 6 miles away, or 15 minutes by car. De Vere Beaumont Estate can easily be accessed to and from Heathrow by bus, car, or taxi.

Invitation Letter

The conference organisers can provide an official Invitation Letter to help participants obtain a visa, to raise travel funds or for administrative purposes.  We would like to point out that invitation letters are only sent to the address indicated by the applicants.  The provided name and address must exactly match that on their visa.

Should a visa be required, applicants are responsible to take care of their own visa application and need to directly contact the respective embassy.   All requests for letters should be addressed by email directly to the Conference Chair, Prof Savvas Tassou at Brunel University London, and copied to Maureen Senatore

The following information is required:

  • Title (Mr, Prof, Dr, …..)
  • Full Name (as it appears on your passport)
  • Full Home Address
  • Email
  • Passport Number (for VISA purposes)
  • Date of Birth (dd/mm/yyyy) (for VISA purposes)
  • Paper ID
  • Paper Title

Letters of invitation will only be issued to those who have registered to attend the conference, to primary authors or co-authors of papers.
