Research Submission

Abstract preparation guidelines

The abstract (maximum 500 words) should contain the title of the paper, contact person, authors and their affiliations, keywords, together with a summary of the paper and its main contributions (introduction, methodology and results or expected results). Acceptance to present at the conference will be based on abstract submission, provided at least one author has pre-registered by the closing registration date.  A Book of Abstracts will be availabe at the conference

The primary workshop theme and topic to which the paper is most relevant should be quoted.

English will be used for all printed material, as well as for the technical presentations and discussions.

Abstract uploading instructions

Visit where you will be required to set up an account with Exordo, the abstract submission system.  When you submit your abstract, you will need to select one of the main workshop themes.

Abstract submission deadline: Sill open

Notification of abstract acceptance will be given by 20 August 2018

Full paper submission by 30 September 2018

Note: Authors are able to check and edit submitted files up until the abstract submission deadline unless it is being reviewed.

All accepted papers will be scheduled for oral presentation and will be included in the conference proceedings published by Elsevier on-line in the open-access Energy Procedia series

At least one author of each accepted paper is required to register and attend the conference to present the work.

A book of abstracts will be available at the conference and the conference proceedings will be available online to all participants after the conference.

Extended versions of selected papers will also be considered for publication in peer-reviewed Elsevier journals including: Sustainable Production and Consumption; Food Policy; Thermal Science and Engineering Progress.
