Conference Programme

The technical programme of the conference comprises:

  • Presentation of accepted conference papers
  • Keynote address and invited speakers on selected topics

A social programme will also be offered to delegates to provide maximum opportunity for networking as well as relaxation.

Registration will take place between 08:00 and 10:00 on both Wednesday 19 and Thursday 20 April 2017

The Conference will take place 19 and 20 April.  The Symposium on Heat Recovery and Efficient Conversion and Utilisation of Waste Heat will run alongside the conference on Thursday 20 April.  The conference dinner will take place on the evening of Wednesday 19 April 2017 and an optional tour of the RCUK Centre for Sustainable Energy Use in Food Chains – CSEF Centre at Brunel University London OR Windsor town walk will be available during the morning of Friday 21 April 2017.

FRIDAY 21 APRIL (am):  optional   'Windsor Town Walk'

Transport from the hotel to the historic town of Windsor where you can enjoy a 2-hour town walk and join in the celebrations of the Queen's 91st birthday, watch the changing guards at Windsor Castle plus see many other attractions in and around Windsor and Eton.  Returning to the hotel at approximately 12:30pm where lunch will be provided before departing early afternoon.

The town walk will include:

• Historical Windsor Castle from the outside

• The Guildhall where Prince Charles married Camilla Parker Bowles

• The glorious 3 mile Long Walk at the back of the castle

• The tavern where William Shakespeare wrote 'The Merry Wives of Windsor'

  ................   plus many other attractions

 

 

FRIDAY 21 APRIL (am):  optional   'Tour of RCUK Centre for Sustainable Energy Use in Food Chains (CSEF), Brunel University London

Transport from the hotel to Brunel University London for a tour of the CSEF Lab. Returning to the hotel at approximately 12:30pm where lunch will be provided before departing early afternoon.
